This Is A Really Freaky Video
What's In The Box?
I found this through EW.com's Jeff Jensen, who theorizes that it (and it's accompanying websites) could possibly be part of some Lost universe created by fans. It definitely has that creepy Lost vibe. Can't you just picture that camera swinging around and revealing Daniel Faraday??
Of course, it could just be a very elaborate Sony Ericcson/Videogame Commercial.
If you're like, shaking now, really freaked out, then just watch Susan Boyle below and get back to a healthy equilibrium.

So, yeah... go vote for him.

PLUS: Just in case you think Sarah Palin's qualified for Vice President:
Not sure what the dancing people have to do with anything, but it's pretty funny.

Some Of The People Out There In Our Nation Don't Have Maps
I think probably everybody in the world has seen this by now, but if you're like me, and have been otherwise preoccupied the last couple of days, then you're in for a treat. The Miss Teen USA competition was on last week, and the final five were each asked a different question to answer. Lauren Caitlin Upton, Miss South Carolina had an interesting response:
Mario Lopez should receive an award for keeping a straight face.
She finished fourth. Much to the chagrin, I'm sure, of the fifth place contestant.
Caitlin said she was "overwhelmed" by being on live TV. Perfectly understandable. But that explaination isn't going to stop the YouTube remixes from proliferating:
Personally, I honestly want to thank Miss South Carolina for giving me a laugh. I could use one this week.

And Now, A Moment Of Unbridled Joy
ESPN Sports Guy Bill Simmons linked to this YouTube video from his article today:
This gave me a lift today. How awesome (and scared) do you think this kid's parents' felt? Making someone that happy... damn that's a good feeling. We all need to let ourselves show a bit of unrestrained happiness once in a while.

The Feel-Good Movie Of The Year
If Kubrick and Stephen King had gone in a different direction...
These spoof trailers are all the rage now on YouTube. Just type "spoof trailer" into the search box and see what you find. I found this "Home Alone" trailer about a homocidal little boy and the undercover detective trying to bring him to justice.
Also on youtube, MC Sickabod Sane's performance from last week's Training Camp-- a New York City showcase of upcoming rappers. Check it out...
